I am a 23-year-old mother of one, pregnant with number two. My fiance and I currently both work full-time, and began saving over the Summer to compensate for my income while I am on unpaid medical leave, and had a plan that would allow us to save enough to pay our bills without my income. Unfortunately, a series of unexpected financial demands over the past few months have drained our savings, set us behind in our rent and utilities, limited us to a $50-per-week food budget for our family of three, and eliminated the possibility of giving Christmas gifts. We are trying to catch up, and may or may not be able to do so, but even if we do, we will drown when I am off work. I will have a C-section on January 27, 2012, which leaves us six weeks to get caught up, and we will not be able to replace any of our savings in that time. I know that we cannot pay our bills on one income. I may be able to get a small ammount food assistance from the state while I am off, but nothing else. Is there anyone who has any ideas, or could help us in any way? Please, I don't want to take my baby girl to the mission when we should be bringing her home. Please help us. God bless you
